Reba McEntire's new book, Comfort From A Country Quilt, was recently released. This book is something you don't want to miss out on. Hey Dixie Chicks Fans! Have you heard that Emily Irwin tied the knot recently? She and fiance had originally set the date as May 1st. Well, best wishes to the newlyweds. Also a newlywed is none other than Wade Hayes. Whom on an unspecified date, married his beautiful girlfriend, Danni Boatwright. Well, congrats go out to them too. Remember to snatch yourself a copy of the new CD to be released by Lonestar on June 1st. As the guys recently told a group of fans in SAn Jose, Cal., "Getcha 1, Getcha 2, GETCHA SOME!" April 28, 1999 | San Jose State University Event Center FAITH HILL w/ special guests The Warren Brothers What a show. The Warren Brothers really know how to get the crowd well worked for the great, and wonderfully talented Faith Hill. Brad & Brett are two very talented young men, whom have high potential in the ever boasting world of country music. Faith stunned the audience with her shear radiance. She never seizes to amaze me! She graced the stage in a short "50's style" shirt, black tank top, and spike healed shoes (at least 3 or 4 inches tall), and a long blonde ponytail! Wait a minute, her hair couldn't have grown that long overnight! It looked stunning never the less. She sang all of her hits, and some other great song, including a 1980's hit of Cyndi Lauper's. Man that brought back high school memories. Faith's shows are something you should not miss. If she's in your area, please go see her! I will have two new concert reviews posted here within the next three weeks. Firstly there will be the great, George Strait Country Music Festival, May 9th, in Oakland, Cal. and then there will be David Kersh at the Calavares County Fair, in Angels Camp, Cal. on May 15. Watch for both of these reviews to be posted about the 18th of this month.
